The summer transfer of Chelsea attacker Christopher Nkunku is being discussed by Manchester United. Since manager Enzo Maresca took over at Stamford Bridge, Nkunku has been benched. The Frenchman’s Premier League playing time last year was 910 minutes.

Nkunku started just nine of the 33 league games in which he appeared. The player is reportedly drawing strong interest from United, according to L’Equipe.
It is said that the Red Devils have started negotiations with Nkunku’s representatives, but they have not yet presented a formal proposal.
After acquiring Matheus Cunha from Wolves, United are currently contemplating trades to add further attackers to their roster. The club has also been in contact with Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford in addition to Nkunku.
