The Argentine World Cup winner is a target for Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso. In order to sign Fernández, Real Madrid will need to generate revenue and make room on the roster.
Fichajes reports that this summer could see the departure of players such as Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, and Fran García.
Alonso has told the three players they can start looking for new clubs before the next season because he does not trust them. While playing in the US for the Club World Cup, Rodrygo did not see much action.
García has reportedly attracted interest from AC Milan, while Camavinga has not been associated with any team.
