In what appears to be a new assault on a hamlet in the state’s Kwara North senatorial area, the Mahmuda terror organisation allegedly killed three people.

Those in the know about the community’s hunting activities say the assault occurred while they were in Ilorin, the capital of the state, for a presidentially-approved national forest guard training session meant to keep them safe.

Tragically, three people were slain on Tuesday morning in a new attack on Duruma village in Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State by members of a new terrorist gang, according to furucinovel.

According to what furucinovel has heard, the community promptly laid to rest the three people murdered by the terrorists.

Despite the presence of soldiers stationed in flashpoint regions of the targeted neighbourhoods, the terrorists allegedly carried out the horrific atrocity.

According to furucinovel, 12 terrorists were apprehended after troops were sent into the dense jungles in April after a visit by the Chief of Army Staff.

According to reports, local hunters were given 25 motorcycles by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as a logistical support to augment the efforts of the army. AbdulRazaq also paid a visit to the affected communities.

The locals, however, revealed that the terrorist group’s members remained in the territories, rendered helpless by the soldiers and hunters who had been assisting the military.

The local hunters from Baruten are currently in Ilorin for National Forest Guard training on how to properly use guns to attack terrorists, according to an anonymous Baruten resident who spoke to furucinovel.

The three villagers were murdered in the same regions where the Mahmuda people had previously lived, which led to the gradual realisation that they were no longer there. They ran away as soon as the troops arrived and started shooting into the air.

A agricultural settlement was also burned a week before to this. Kemaanji, Tenebo, Baabete, Nuku, and Nanu in Kaiama Local Government Area and villages in Yashikira District, Baruten Local Government Area, both in Kwara State, are among the other regions where our people are being harassed by terrorists.

Our town, Kemanji, is currently under the thumb of terrorists as I speak with you. They began in Sokoto, Kebbi, and other states; they have not yet reached the main town of Kaiama. Kaiama is around 10 km away from our community, according to another source.

In addition, the group has taken over the Babana and Wawa Districts in the Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State, according to multiple sources.

A new terrorist organisation known as Mahmuda has just emerged in the North Central region of Nigeria, wreaking havoc on the rural towns and villages that surround Kainji Lake National Park.

Attempts to contact SP Ejire Adetoin Adeyemi, the spokesman of the state police command, in Ilorin on Tuesday regarding the development were unsuccessful.
