According to furucinovel, Paul Onuachu has officially joined Trabzonspor of the Turkish Super Lig. Southampton, a club in the Sky Bet Championship, sold him to the Black Sea Storm for €5.6 million. At first, Onuachu played for Trabzonspor during the 2023–24 season.

The previous winners of the Turkish Super Lig were in a bidding war with Southampton for his services last summer, but they were unable to match their asking price.
When Southampton signed the player in January 2023 from KRC, a Belgian Pro League club, for £18 million, they suffered a heavy loss. In 25 league games played for the Saints last year, he scored four goals and added one assist.
