Since they lack the gift of ministration, he said, many musicians who began their careers in gospel eventually move to secular music.
Hassani revealed in a recent Hip TV interview that he left the religion to pursue music full-time after realising it wasn’t his true calling.
The gospel, he proclaimed, goes beyond music. If you want to understand God’s messages through music, you need to be blessed.
As an example, CeCe Winans is the only artist who could ever sing God’s words with the kind of skill that CeCe Perry possesses. In my opinion, CeCe has a gift from God that allows her to express the Holy Spirit via song. There is another manner in which Whitney Houston is fortunate.

I don’t think it’s necessary for everyone to attend church. The world was shaped for some of us. Furthermore, I possess Christian music. I have a firm faith in Christ. At least one gospel song may be found on every one of my CDs. But I don’t truly feel a calling to that.
My intention was to use a new musical style to make a difference in the world. I will not approach it in the same manner as Mercy Chinwo or Frank Edwards. I don’t belong in church music right now. That’s just not my style.
“Money isn’t the reason people are ditching gospel for secular music. Everyone, including creatives and those gifted with certain abilities, enjoys a good financial cushion. The true satisfaction, though, comes from really being able to execute it.

The Burnas, the Wizkids, and everyone else who has ever been rich… If it were truly about money, Davido would be completely out of place since he has an abundance of it.
Therefore, money isn’t the main concern. Beyond monetary gain, there is no substitute for the joy that comes from composing music from one’s own ideas. There’s no way that material wealth can compare to it.
