The NPFL has announced that Kun Khalifat and Warri Wolves will be playing in the league next year.

On Thursday, the two teams advanced to the promotion playoffs of the Nigeria National League (NNL) after winning their last group games.
Warri Wolves won Conference B with a 2-1 victory over Crown FC. Just nine minutes before halftime, Abdulateef Yusuf put the Seasiders ahead.
The 38th minute saw Crown FC equalise. Wolves’ Shemaye Amatesiro scored the game-winning goal in the 68th minute.
After a 2-1 victory over Osun United, Kun Khalifat will play in the NPFL for the first time next year. Promotion from Conference A was achieved earlier in the day by Wikki Tourists and Barau FC.
