For what the court deemed as “wasting the agency’s time,” he was also offered the choice of paying a ₦30,000 compensation charge to the Kano State Film Censorship Board and a ₦100,000 fine.
One of Kilina’s TikTok videos featured cross-dressers, and he was found guilty of encouraging immoral behaviour and using foul language, according to Freedom Radio.
His sentencing came after the Kano State Film Censorship Board had brought charges against him.
If Kilina violates public decency again, Magistrate Hadiza warned, the court will have no choice but to impose the whole term without the possibility of a fine. Hadiza urged Kilina to cease from such behaviour.
