According to Saturday furuci update’s reporting, Juventus of Italy and Manchester United of the English Premier League are reportedly negotiating a €20 million annual fee for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen in preparation for the upcoming summer transfer season.

An article in a Turkish newspaper claims that Ali Naci Küçük has learned that Manchester United have offered Osimhen a six-figure contract to sign with the club this summer.

United and Juventus have both put forward offers totaling £17.1 million per year (net), or around £330,000 per week (after taxes). That would put him in the top tier of their paid players in the UK, earning £660,000 per week before taxes.

After two expensive striker transfers—Rasmus Hojlund to Everton and Joshua Zirkzee to Manchester United—failed to produce the expected results at Old Trafford, the Red Devils are now shopping for a replacement ahead of the upcoming season.

It has been stated that INEOS chiefs have already made an offer for Osimhen, who has become one of the most sought-after targets for the upcoming transfer season. The Nigerian international is anticipated to depart Napoli.

Reports out of Turkey indicate that Galatasaray are in a frantic attempt to retain on to Osimhen after his loan term this season, but they are facing financial difficulties in doing so.

According to Küçük, “there is no decision made at the moment,” but it is quite probable that Osimhen will bid farewell to Galatasaray.

Both Manchester United and Juventus are obviously interested in Osimhen. During the preseason and midseason transfer windows, Fenerbahçe tried their luck, but it was a bust.

Osimhen requested fifteen million euros from Galatasaray. An offer of €20 million (or £660,000 per week) has been made by Juventus and Manchester.

Osimhen enjoyed a sensational season in Turkey this year after joining Galatasaray on loan at the beginning of the season. He made 33 appearances for the Istanbul side and contributed to 29 goals and six assists.

Several Italian media outlets have reported that the 26-year-old’s net income is closer to €11 million every season, although the actual amount is closer to €10 million.

While on loan to Galatasaray for the season, Napoli are likely still responsible for paying the remaining €6 million of his deal.
