Victor Osimhen will not participate in Galatasaray’s first match of the Turkish Super Lig season against Gaziantep this Friday. Last week, Osimhen finalized a permanent move to the Turkish Super Lig champions.

The Nigerian international was not included in the squad that headed to Gaziantep for the match on Thursday. At 26 years old, he has not yet reached full fitness after starting pre-season training later than others.
During his loan with the Yellow and Reds last season, Osimhen netted 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 matches across all competitions. This achievement made him the top-scoring foreign player in a single season in the Turkish Super Lig.
