Ronaldo was unexpectedly left out of the all-time XI that the ex-Portugal international unveiled, even though the two have played together 130 times for club and nation.

Members of Nani’s final squad were heavily influenced by Manchester United and Sporting CP. The football career of the 38-year-old was primarily spent with Sporting and the Red Devils.

Edwin van der Sar was chosen by the Portuguese winger to be his goalie, according to Planet Football. In terms of defense, Nani sent out João Cancelo, Patrice Evra, Bruno Alves, Rio Ferdinand, and Alves.

Though he didn’t play with the current Manchester United captain at Old Trafford, he still went with Paul Scholes, Deco, and Bruno Fernandes in the middle of the field. The ex-Valencia great started Carlos Tevez, Ryan Giggs, and Wayne Rooney up front.
