The 44-year-old actor was taken into custody on May 2 at Brooklyn’s Kings Supreme Criminal Court, according to court records acquired by Fox News Digital.
Pitt is accused of multiple felony offenses, including two instances of first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of second-degree strangling, three counts of third-degree sodomy, and assault with a blunt object. He was granted $100,000 bail by the sitting judges after pleading not guilty to all charges.
The actor was reportedly released from custody after posting bail, as reported by TMZ. On June 17, he is scheduled to make his court appearance. Fox News Digital has requested response from Pitt’s camp, but so far, no word.
Jason Goldman, Pitt’s attorney, told Variety, “Unfortunately, we live in a world where somebody like Mr. Pitt, an accomplished professional who would never so much as contemplate these crimes can be arrested on the uncorroborated word of an unhinged individual.”.

The truth is that this unfounded accusation is dubiously brought up around four or five years after the purported incident, while the two individuals were engaged in an entirely voluntary and consenting relationship. The court will reject this case.
