Members of the APC, PDP, and LP are cautioned by EFCC Chairman Olukoyede not to embezzle funds

If any member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) or any other political party is discovered to have stolen funds, the head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has threatened to pursue them.

He made it clear that he is not affiliated with any political party when he delivered the warning. This was revealed by Olukoyede during his appearance on Wednesday’s Politics Today on Channels Television.

“Whether you’re from the APC, PDP, Labour Party, SDP, or NNPP, you will have questions to answer if we discover that you have stolen money,” he said.

You will have a case to answer if an APC member steals from you; if a PDP member steals from you, it will be like sandpaper that you can’t digest.

It is our responsibility to act morally, regardless of our political allegiance. Have you allegedly committed an offense? That is our first concern. Is there anything we’ve found that you need to know? Everything that we do is based on that principle.

“As far as I’m aware, no one is trying to persuade us to do anything that goes against our mission or the rule of law; I’m not involved in politics, and I don’t identify with any political party.”
