Iyanya, an Afrobeats singer, has addressed claims that he took a stand in the spat between Wizkid and Davido, two of his colleagues.

According to Furuci update, last year Wizkid and Davido rekindled their long-running feud with a series of ugly online confrontations.
After publicly endorsing Davido’s music, Iyanya—who previously worked with Wizkid on the hit single “Sexy Mama”—is allegedly betraying the Starboy boss.
“I thought Wiz was your friend,” X user @Akubasteeny said under the singer’s Wednesday tweet, raising the claim once again. I simply want to know why you decided to change sides and become Davido’s boy.
Iyanya responded by saying he gets along with all of their coworkers and that he’s a huge fan of Wizkid’s music, just like any other musician. The fans, he said, were inciting rivalries among the artists.

He expressed his lack of disapproval with any artist in his writing. Like any other artist’s tracks, I played “Made in Lagos” and “Morayo” by Wizkid.
