The injury news for Barcelona came just before their second leg match against Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

Left back Alejandro Balde will not be playing in Tuesday’s match at San Siro, according to Spanish news outlet AS via Barça Universal.
Balde has been sidelined since last month due to a hamstring injury, missing all eight of Barcelona’s matches. It appears he will miss the match against Inter Milan since his recuperation has not gone as planned.
This weekend’s away La Liga match against Real Valladolid was thought to see the 21-year-old’s return to Hansi Flick’s starting lineup.
Unfortunately, the Spain international was left out of Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Valladolid. Balde will not be playing any role in the match against Inter Milan. On the other hand, the Serie A champions will likely face Gerard Martin in Balde’s absence.
Balde has been an integral part of Barça’s success since making his senior debut with the Catalan club in 2021. He has appeared in 43 games for Barça this season, scoring once and assisting on ten goals.
