Hull City signs Semi Ajayi to a two-year deal

Premier League club Hull City has signed seasoned defender Semi Ajayi, according to Sky Bet Championship. The Tigers have signed the Nigerian international to a two-year deal. West Bromwich Albion, a team in the Sky Bet Championship, were Ajayi’s previous club.

Albion signed the 31-year-old in 2019 from Rotherham United. The centre back was a Hawthorns player for six years.

After the 2024–25 season came to a close, the Baggies released Ajayi in May. He graduated from Arsenal’s academy and was an integral part of the West Brom’s 2019–20 Premier League promotion.

With the club, the towering defender played 170 times in the league and scored 12 goals. On July 1, his transfer to Hull City will be officially announced.
