As previously reported by furucinovel, the musician and his wife Rima Tahini had a daughter, Amaris Esohe Ighodaro, on November 17, 2023.
Drille recently discussed his feelings for his parents in an interview with Dose Of Society, saying that fatherhood deepened his appreciation for them. He said that becoming a parent changed his life forever.
“Family first is the one rule I live by,” he stated. Absolutely, without hesitation, I would drop everything and go to any lengths to be there for my loved ones if they ever needed me.
My family has always been there for me when I needed them. When I feel overwhelmed by life, I always find solace in my family. A sense of relief washed over me. My family, particularly my parents, have always supported me. To be able to look after them and take them on adventures is my lifelong goal.

“Our family was quite poor. I recall that there were times when it was incredibly tough and we went hungry, but they always managed to find a way to feed us.
Simply put, they made it work, and we had a great time doing it. I remember thinking it was cool at the time, but now I see they were trying to protect us from so much.
I know now what it’s like to be able to nurture someone because I have a daughter. My parents’ sacrifices for my siblings and me are more meaningful to me now than they were before. The birth of a kid brings about unparalleled transformations in a person’s life.
