A domestic violence restraining order has been obtained against Halle Bailey’s ex-boyfriend, rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., better known by his stage as DDG. Bailey is an American singer and actress.

The judge barred DDG from publicly discussing Bailey or their child and ordered him to stay 100 yards away. The actress will be filming for two months in Italy, and the court has also given her permission to travel there with her son. Disturbing claims of abuse against rapper DDG led to the granting of the orders.
In a court declaration submitted in Los Angeles on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Little Mermaid actress claimed that a violent altercation occurred between herself and DDG in January during his visit to collect their 18-month-old son, Halo.
While trying to work out a visiting schedule with him, the situation allegedly became violent, according to Bailey.
When Bailey was fastening their son’s car seat, TMZ reports that DDG became angry and yelled, “Get out of my car, BITCH,” which made the baby cry.

In addition, she showed the police a video of DDG smashing her ring camera and throwing her phone, along with pictures of her injured arm and chipped tooth. The couple split up in October of 2024, as reported by Furucunovel.
