In a joint statement to the press, NDD’s National Coordinator Tajudeen Alabede and General Secretary Jameel Muhammad issued this proclamation. Monday, the statement was provided to furucinovel.
According to information acquired by furucinovel, insecurity has recently increased in several states, including Borno, Benue, and Plateau.
Unconstitutional killings of innocent people in the states of Benue and Plateau were reported a few days ago by our correspondent.
On the other hand, NDD has urged politicians at all levels of government to put aside their concerns about the 2027 election and work on finding a solution to the situation. Partisanship, the two said in their joint statement, can wait.
They insisted that politicians should stop worrying about winning elections and start governing. The two went on to say that effective government is something that Nigerians truly desire.
Overshadowed by the well-coordinated plotting for the 2027 general election, the raucous revelry in party queue crossing, and the incessant cacophony produced by the efficient propaganda machines, are the messages of sorrow and sympathy.
The prospects for a rapid increase in the general welfare of the populace and a paradigm change in the way government operates are dimmed by this.
Not putting on political shows to amuse the helpless masses, but genuine, patriotic attempts at governance are required at this time. Governmental partisanship can be postponed. Good administration is profoundly desired by Nigerians.
