This stipend will be granted temporarily to help cover expenses until the current Physical Verification Exercise is over, as stated in a document signed by Jibrin Yusuf on behalf of Head of Civil Service, Ahmed Abdullahi.

The attached memo informed that, starting from June 2025, all employees of the state’s Local Government and Local Education Authority will be paid an additional ₦5,000, subject to the completion of the current Physical Verification Exercise.

The ministry of finance and economic development was instructed to ensure timely implementation of the increment, which would be formally captured in the July 2025 payroll.
