This week, the 24-year-old was picked to the Super Eagles’ roster by head coach Eric Chelle for the invitational Unity Cup event. The full-back is still waiting for approval from FIFA, but he was supposed to train with the team today.
Agu has never represented Germany in a senior or junior international match, according to the German Football Federation (DFB). The player can now play for Nigeria’s senior team, thanks to the verdict.
