Rather than attempting to dismantle the party’s current structure, the Ondo State branch of the ADC has urged coalition members to register correctly. Last Monday, in Akure, the capital of the state, the ADC coalition’s state chapter was launched.

A number of state-level political party leaders, including those from the People’s Democratic Party, the Social Democratic Party, the Labour Party, and the ADC, were part of the coalition.
As a whole, the The coalition’s coordinator and a former lawmaker, Prof. Bode Ayorinde, claimed that numerous party heavyweights were already on board.
Nevertheless, the party’s nominee for the state governorship on November 16, Adeyemi Nejo, stated on Sunday that the party’s structure remained unchanged and that no coalition member had been assigned a position as of yet.
If you want to join the party through the coalition, Nejo added in the statement, you have to go to your local government and register with them.
The purpose of this statement is to explain where the ADC stands in terms of its organisational structure and to lay out specific steps for how coalition members might become full members of our wonderful party.
“I want to make it clear that the current ADC structure in Ondo State is still completely functional and unaltered, as per the decision of the party leadership at the top.
“The coalition, which we wholeheartedly support, is meant to fortify the ADC by fostering collaboration and integration, not to undermine or overthrow the party’s solid foundation.
In Ondo State, the ADC has a well-defined organisational structure that includes a state chairman and his executive committee, chairmen of local government areas and their executive committees, and ward-level leadership.
I feel it necessary to stress that the ADC’s bylaws do not define positions like “state coordinator” or “LGA coordinators.”
In his statement, he clarified that the ADC in Ondo State is led by the state chairman, LG chairmen, and ward executives.
Nejo emphasised the importance of coalition leaders directing and encouraging their people to register as ADC members in their own wards.
He emphasised the importance of this process in promoting unity, facilitating smooth integration, and creating a united party that represents the hopes and dreams of all members and the people of Ondo State.
