With the arrival of rainy season, Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has tasked the House of Representatives Committee on Federal highways Maintenance Agency (FERMA) with the task of repairing the state’s crumbling federal highways.

While receiving a courtesy visit from the House Committee on FERMA in Damaturu on Thursday, Governor Buni made the accusation, according to a statement by Media Aide, Mamman Mohammed.
According to him, criminals use the poor parts of the roads as a weapon since drivers slow down when they encounter them, making them easy targets. In order to enhance security across the state, it is consequently imperative to repair the roads,” Buni stated.
