Chiamaka, who recently transferred from Paris FC to Brighton, has been nominated for the 2025 Women’s Yachine Trophy.
At 24 years old, she will compete against Ann-Katrin Berger, Cata Coll, Hannah Hampton, and Daphne van Domselaar for this prestigious award.
Madugu, who guided the team to a record-extending 10th Women’s African Cup of Nations title last month, is nominated for Women’s Team Coach of the Year.
He stands out as the only male nominee on the shortlist, competing against Renée Slegers, Sarina Wiegman, Sonia Bompastor, and Arthur Elias.
Additionally, Ademola Lookman, who plays for Atalanta in Serie A, is the sole Nigerian nominated in all categories.
