After being officially unveiled on Thursday, Sverre Nypan, a new midfielder for Manchester City, has made his first public statement.

The opportunity to collaborate with Pep Guardiola, hailed as the “best in the world,” was too wonderful to pass up, according to Nypan. The young Norwegian’s stellar play for Rosenborg piqued the curiosity of other Premier League clubs.
Depending on the influence of Martin Ødegaard, the captain of the Norway national team, Arsenal thought they were in the lead to sign Nypan at one point. But the 18-year-old has signed a £12.5 million deal to play for City.
“Being coached by Pep Guardiola, the best manager in the world, will only help me become a better player,” Nypan stated, even if he is still young and has a lot to learn.
