Alteration to Lapai Emirate’s Curfew Policy Announced

In an effort to uphold peace, order, and collective security within the emirate, the Lapai Emirate Council has announced the rescheduling of curfew hours. This has been made in the Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State.

Every day, the new curfew time is 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. This change takes the place of the curfew that was previously in effect from 11 pm to 5 am. Alhaji Abubakar Sule, the Mayaki Lapai, made a statement that included this order.

“The general public has been officially informed that the curfew hours within the emirate have been rescheduled,” reads the statement from the Mayaki Lapai, Alhaji Abubakar Sule.

In order to keep the peace, order, and collective security within the emirate, it is strongly recommended that all indigenes, residents, and students comply with this new directive.

“The Lapai Emirate Council was grateful for everyone’s help and asked everyone to keep lending their support to the cause of making sure everyone is safe and well.”
