According to Alonso, Rodrygo is essential to the club’s success, even though he has been linked to a summer transfer to the Premier League.

Rumour has it that the 24-year-old is asking Arsenal for a net annual salary of almost €10 million. However, Mikel Arteta’s camp is unwilling to pay that much.
