The government of Abia State has reassured investors and members of the diaspora that they may feel safe and welcome in the state.

During an interactive meeting with members of Nzuko Ndi Abia N’ Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom, Rev. Annie Onu, the Executive Secretary of the Abia State Diaspora Commission, made the guarantee.
She highlighted the determination of Governor Alex Otti’s administration to investigate and pinpoint critical areas of cooperation that will benefit both the state and its expatriate population.
The state administration has prioritized development in sectors such as education, infrastructure, and security, according to Onu.
Security has improved across the entire state of Abia, she told the diaspora, and she urged people to return and invest. She also mentioned that Abia State’s reputation has improved.

At an earlier event, Ugochukwu Iheukwumere, chairman of Nzuko Ndi Abia N’ Aberdeen, thanked Governor Otti for enhancing the state’s reputation and reiterated the association’s backing of the government’s initiatives.
