Police in Plateau state detain 22 people in connection with the killing of indigenous Kaduna people Mr. Sani

Twelve indigenous Kadunans were killed in Plateau State, and 22 people have been arrested in connection with this crime, according to Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani.

Last Saturday, while travelling to a wedding in Quan Pan LGA from the Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, the victims were allegedly ambushed and slain, according to furucinovel.

In a statement made while visiting wounded survivors at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna, Sani characterised the assault as “barbaric.”

He said that President Bola Tinubu and Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State were in continual contact with him to guarantee that the culprits would be punished.

Sani encouraged community leaders to avoid violent behaviour and praised the people of Kaduna for maintaining peace despite the provocation.

According to furucinovel, the governor had previously ordered the arrest and prosecution of all individuals engaged in the attack by the security forces.
