Enrique selects six players that could win the Ballon d’Or in 2025

Coach Luis Enrique of Paris Saint-Germain has nominated six players, including Ousmane Dembélé, as potential winners of the Ballon d’Or this season.

Also, Enrique has come clean about his preference for Dembélé to win the top individual medal. When the Ballon d’Or is announced in September, Dembélé will likely be one of the favourites.

While playing for Enrique, the French attacker helped his team win the French Cup, Ligue 1, and the Champions League.

Speaking to the media at his press conference ahead of PSG’s Club World Cup tie with Botafogo on Friday, Enrique suggested that the likes of Vitinha, Achraf Hakimi, Fabián Ruiz, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, and William Pacho could also win the Ballon d’Or ahead of Dembélé. As reported by RMC Sport, the Spaniard stated:

A Ballon d’Or wouldn’t mean nearly as much as the message our squad sends. Regarding the Ballon d’Or, I couldn’t care less. I am unconcerned with individual accolades. Ousmane Dembélé is, without a doubt, my fave right now; I apologise if I offended you.

Outside of Ousmane, there are a lot of other players that have a shot of winning it. Ousmane is my favourite, in my opinion. It is also possible for Vitinha to win. Achraf Hakimi, Fabián Ruiz, Marquinhos, Pacho, and Nuno Mendes are just a few of the team members.
