During Thursday’s commissioning ceremonies for a 300-bed hospital in Millennium City and the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development in Rigachikun, he made the following statement.

The environment has gone from being poisonous and uncontrollable to being a condition of life, progress, and development because to Uba Sani’s miracles. Thanks, my comrade,” Tinubu said, as the crowd erupted in cheers.

After months of political animosity, El-Rufai recently defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and this is the first time the president has openly addressed the escalating tension between them.

El-Rufai and the president had a falling out after the Senate rejected his ministerial candidacy; he had previously been considered as an ally of Tinubu.

El-Rufai accused Tinubu of treason and even connected the president to multiple accusations in a string of public rants.
