Victor Osimhen will not be leaving Galatasaray during the summer transfer window, according to Turkish football analyst Devrim Zengi.

Osimhen has not yet committed to a team for the next season. He finished his loan stint with Galatasaray not long ago; he’s 26 years old.
This summer, the Nigerian international is expected to leave Napoli for permanent deals with a number of European clubs as well as Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal.
Osimhen may wind up staying put with Galatasaray, according to Zengi, as no European team has come close to matching the offer the Turkish Super Lig champions are giving the striker.
He claims that the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is the reason why European teams are hesitant to recruit Osimhen and other African stars. Moving to Saudi Arabia is not something that Osimhen’s family is interested in, he added.

“This year, there is a one-month African Cup,” Zengi stated (habersarikirmizi) when asked about the Super Lig champions’ transfer plans. Maybe Victor Osimhen will be performing as well. Therefore, he might sit out four or five games.
This is why some clubs are avoiding sending players to the African Cup. Osimhen, though, appears to be staying put at Galatasaray. In a few days, it will be completely evident.
The salary offer from Galatasaray is too much for any European club to match. He has already effectively severed all ties with Saudi Arabia. Even his relatives aren’t interested in that spot.
