Several allegations of sexual assault, harassment, and gender violence have been levelled against Tyler Perry, a Hollywood film producer.

The actor Derek Dixon made these claims in a lawsuit he filed against Perry, claiming that Perry created a “coercive, sexually exploitative dynamic” with his power and influence. Dixon was an associate producer on Ruthless and The Oval, two of Perry’s series.
He claims the media magnate threatened him with “escalating sexual harassment, assault and battery” despite his assurances of professional advancement.
Perry “held direct control over his employment, compensation, and creative opportunities” when he harassed and abused Dixon, according to Dixon’s accusations. According to Perry’s lawyer, Matthew Boyd, the accusations are a “shakedown.” Perry denies them.
The person in question reportedly became close to Tyler Perry for the purpose of what seems to be nothing more than arranging a fraud, according to Boyd’s statement to the media. However, Tyler is unfazed and we have faith that these false accusations of harassment will be dismissed.”
