“The US is formally asked by Israel to join the war against Iran,” the media reported on X. This comes at a time when tensions between Iran and Israel have been rising in the Middle East for the last two days.
After the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) attacked its nuclear facility on Friday, Iran responded by firing ballistic missiles towards key Israeli cities. Israel allegedly threatened to “burn down” Tehran in a retaliation strike, according to emerging sources.
The Times of Israel previously stated that Trump had recently informed Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, that the United States may contemplate attacking Iran’s underground Fordo nuclear complex in order to thwart Tehran’s nuclear weapon aspirations.
