At least ninety-six homes in Gyenbwas, Langai district, Mangu Local Government Area (LGA), Plateau state, were set on fire by masked gunmen. According to reports, the men brazenly invaded the hamlet and stole food, bedding, cattle, and other things.

According to Alhaji Yakubu Umar, Madugun Langai and traditional ruler, they have recovered the bodies of victims of the incident.
He claimed that the death toll rose to three after two bodies were found on Tuesday in addition to the two on Monday.
The Berom ethnic group was denied responsibility by the community, who accused them of launching the attack.
