The return of Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu to Turkish Super Lig team Trabzonspor is almost finalised. According to speculations coming out of Turkey, the player’s transfer could be finalised soon between Trabzonspor and relegated Southampton.

In order to unload the towering hitman, Southampton is asking €6 million. Both teams could reportedly agree to a fee of about €6 million.

Two years ago, Onuachu made a strong impression when on loan at Trabzonspor, scoring 17 goals in 22 games.
Last summer, a transfer fee was unable to be agreed upon by both teams.

While Southampton were once again sent crashing to Earth in the English Championship last season, he scored four goals in the Premier League.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea were never going to sign forward Emanuel Emegha this summer, even though he is eligible to play for Chelsea. During the summer transfer window, he stated that the attacker will stay at Strasbourg.

While Chelsea are interested in signing Emegha, he will be able to stay with the French Ligue 1 club until summer of 2026, according to Romano.

When the UEFA Conference League playoffs roll around next year, the French club will be looking to Emegha for assistance. The 22-year-old had a productive 27-game career in the French Ligue 1, contributing 14 goals and 3 assists.

The goal scorers from the just-ended season are Alexandre Lacazette, Mason Greenwood, Arnaud Kalimuendo, Jonathan David, and Ousmane Dembele, behind Emegha.

Emegha played for KRSV Vredenburch, Sparta Rotterdam, Royal Antwerp, and Sturm Graz before signing with the French club in 2023.
