According to @Verity HQ, an X user, Skales claimed he filed for a divorce from Precious because she joined online trolls in making fun of his career.
Someone posted:
Singer Skales allegedly stated, “I d!vorced my wife because of a comment she made on my post and I don’t rêgret it.”. The comment made by my wife on my post made me angry. Your husband’s music profession is providing for your family, so it’s unfair that you’re taking part in the efforts to undermine his career.
She ought to have spoken out for me or, much better, kept silent. “A woman who doesn’t support your hustle isn’t a good wife,” I told myself, and I wasn’t entirely wrong to divorce her.

In response, Skales called the allegation “false” and said he had never made the claim in question. Accusing the blogger of peddling false information, he slammed the report as “evil and unfair.”
This is incredibly malicious of you to fabricate such a lie,” the singer wrote. None of this is right. To the contrary, I have never said anything along these lines. Speak truth to power.
Skales, who wed chef Precious Hassanity in September 2021, allegedly leaked parts of an unfinished song in November 2022 that sounded more like a diss track directed at his wife, in which she was allegedly called unprintable terms, according to furucinovel.

The rapper said in the song that his wife could have saved his mother, Martina Aiyewa, who had passed just a few weeks before, but she chose not to.
In his social media posts after his mother passed away, Skales hinted at marital problems: Avoid marrying a cold-hearted person at all costs. My mental health is in your prayers.
