A serving officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) was captured by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command in Abuja following an unsuccessful armed robbery attempt that injured a Bolt driver.

Zagazola Makama was informed by law enforcement sources that the event occurred at City View Estate, Galadimawa, at approximately 12:10 a.m. on Friday. This occurred after a distress call was received regarding an ongoing robbery attempt.
An Inspector with the NDLEA’s FCT Command named Felix Emmanuel allegedly attempted to take a Toyota Corolla (KWL 736 SZ) from Bolt driver Mr. Israel Emeka even though the car was in motion.
Reportedly, Emmanuel shot the driver during the altercation with a weapon that was produced in the area. The injured party is currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Jabi, where they were taken in an emergency.
Promptly responding to the situation, officers from the Galadimawa Division, spearheaded by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), apprehended the individual in question.

Two live cartridges and a weapon that was made locally were found on him, according to Makama.
