Former Liverpool star Jamie Carragher thinks the match between Inter Milan and Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals was the best of all time.

You may remember that on Tuesday night, Inter Milan eliminated Barcelona from the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.

At San Siro, the Serie A club came out on top, 4-3. Inter took a 2-0 lead at halftime thanks to goals from Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Blaugrana scored an equalizer through Eric Garcia and Dani Olmo, but the visitors took the lead again through Raphinha. The match finished in a 3-3 tie after 90 minutes when Francesco Acerbi equalized for the Serie A giants.

But Davide Frattesi scored the game-winning goal in the opening half of extra time, advancing Simeone Inzaghi’s squad to the championship game.

According to Carragher, who spoke to CBS Sports, “When you look back at history, the Champions League semifinal is some of the most entertaining and high quality of game that you will ever see in football.

And this is right up there, not just right up there, arguably one of the best, if not the best “in the Champions League era.
