The former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has given his tactical advice to Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta for Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain in Paris.

The first leg, which took place a few days ago at the Emirates Stadium, ended in a close 1-0 loss for Arteta’s squad.
When facing PSG, though, Collymore argued that Arteta should go back to their “early-season defensive nous and combine it with counter-attack” strategy, as outlined in his Caught Offside piece.
It will be extremely difficult, but Arsenal has every opportunity to reverse the aggregate score against PSG, according to Collymore. Playing in front of the Parc des Princes’s passionate fan base is sure to be an intimidating experience.
“What matters most is that Mikel Arteta correctly executes the game plan. In my opinion, they must regain their defensive prowess from earlier in the season and be able to mount effective counterattacks.”
