As reported by Belgian news source HLN, Wolves are set to make a €25m bid for the striker from Genk. Last season, the 24-year-old was the leading scorer in the Belgian Pro League.

Arokodare, who was signed by Genk for €5m two years ago, has also attracted interest from AC Milan and Napoli.

Wolves are looking to sign him as a replacement for Jørgen Strand-Larsen, who is likely to move to Newcastle United before the transfer window closes.

To reduce any potential risks, Arokodare has been omitted from Genk’s lineup for Thursday’s UEFA Europa Conference League match against Bulgarian team Lezh Poznan.
