The recall letter, which was signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Habaibat Adubiaro, and dated August 18, confirmed that Olatunbosun will resume his role as commissioner for information. The Secretary to the State Government indicated that this recall takes effect immediately.
According to furucinovel, Governor Oyebanji recently undertook a significant restructuring by dissolving the state executive council on August 11, instructing commissioners and special advisers to transfer their responsibilities to permanent secretaries or the most senior civil servants in their respective ministries, departments, and agencies.
It is worth noting that during the dissolution, six commissioners, including those for Finance, Works, and Human Capital Development, were retained to maintain continuity in essential government sectors.
At the time of the dissolution, Governor Oyebanji clarified that this move was intended to bring new energy into governance while reaffirming his dedication to his “shared prosperity” agenda.
