The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, denounced this act as a serious breach of the state’s environmental regulations, cautioning that such violations will not be tolerated.
Wahab revealed that the Corps Marshall of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps has been instructed to implement the closure of the school’s facilities.
“We will not hesitate to take strong measures against any institution or organization that disregards our waste management rules,” Wahab emphasized. “Lagos must stay clean, safe, and healthy for all its residents, and we will ensure strict enforcement without exception.”]} “`
