Senator Shehu Sani has pointed out that State Governors are not doing enough to ease the hardships faced by poor Nigerians during these tough times.

He noted that while President Bola Tinubu is facing criticism for the people’s struggles, the governors seem to be profiting from the situation.
Sani’s remarks come in the wake of growing frustration over soaring fuel prices and economic difficulties following the end of the petroleum subsidy.
He emphasized that as citizens grapple with rising living costs, it is Tinubu who is shouldering the public’s ire, while the governors remain largely unresponsive and indifferent to the plight of the people.
In a sharp post on X, Sani stated: “The Subsidy was removed. The People are bearing the brunt. The President is receiving the bashing. The Governors are receiving the alerts.”
