The Nigerian international landed in Istanbul on Wednesday night to complete the required medical examinations at Besiktas.

Ndidi’s transfer to the Black Eagles is anticipated to be officially announced on Thursday. He is set to sign a three-year deal with an option for an additional year.

The 28-year-old is making the switch to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team from Leicester City, a club in the Sky Bet Championship. Ndidi is eager to contribute to the club’s success and assist them in securing trophies.

“It’s truly wonderful; this is my second visit to Turkey. I feel fantastic, and joining Besiktas is a remarkable opportunity for me,” he shared on the club’s official website.

“I want the fans to enjoy the season, and we’ll see how it unfolds. I will do my utmost to help the team secure more victories because the more we win, the greater our chances of claiming a trophy.
