Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has shared the reason behind her hiatus from acting.

In a recent episode of Curiosity Made Me Ask, hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, the actress disclosed that someone anonymously set her up with a ₦1 million weekly salary because her earnings from acting were quite low. She mentioned that this generous act prompted her to step back from Nollywood.
“An anonymous person put me on a ₦1 million weekly salary since I wasn’t making enough from my movie roles — that’s the reason I decided to take a break from acting. I can’t film a movie and possibly not earn up to ₦1 million in profit from it,” the actress explained.
However, Nkechi Blessing chose not to answer the host’s inquiry about whether the benefactor remains anonymous. That’s not your concern,” she replied.
