In a long post on Thursday, the actress from Lagos claimed that she had been summoned to the National Cybercrime Centre in Abuja for denouncing certain individuals for their suspected complicity in the killing of musician Mohbad.
The Nigeria Police Force’s National Cybercrime Centre in Abuja recently called me to appear before them on petitions including claims of cyberbullying and other offences related to a live video I shot a few years ago.
“In that video, I asked a few people to come forward and be investigated for their possible involvement in Mohbad’s untimely demise, so they can clear their names,” she explained.
Sam Larry and Naira Marley were cleared of all charges in the death of musician Mohbad four months ago, and this comes after that.
The death of Mohbad in September 2023 was shrouded in controversy, as reported by the furucinovel. Videos of him being bullied by his former record label boss Naira Marley and her associate Sam Larry surfaced after his death, sparking controversy.
As a result of this new information, many are blaming Sam Larry and Naira Marley; Iyabo Ojo is leading the campaign for the victims’ justice. The two were taken into custody in October 2023 after the public pressured them to do so.
Iyabo Ojo was served a public apologies and a demand for N500 million damages by Naira Marley in December 2023. In retaliation for Naira Marley, the actress filed a lawsuit for N1 billion.
