While praising Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah as one of the country’s top performers, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo acknowledged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is terrified of him.

It is becoming more difficult to imagine the governor’s political defeat, according to Keyamo, therefore the APC would have little choice but to plan against Mbah. He spoke at the formal opening ceremony of Enugu Air, the state-owned airline, in the city of Enugu.

On the other hand, the minister cautioned the state government against using harsh tactics in running the airline. In his opinion, the airline’s professionalism and efficiency depend on the absence of political meddling.
