The announcement was revealed during a press briefing at the command’s headquarters in Ikeja by Moshood Jimoh, the commissioner of police for Lagos State.

He announced that 36 vehicles have been retrieved by the command from various states in Nigeria and other nations.

Although the commissioner chose not to reveal the singer’s identity, he did urge the famous man who had purchased a red classic car to surrender before the police came for him.

The car you’re looking at was stolen from a foreign country, and its value is estimated to be over N250 million. We are still working on recovering them, therefore we will contact you again on this.

It has come to light that one of the cars was allegedly purchased by a well-known musician—I will refrain from naming him—. As a result, the public will be made aware of it by the time the celebrity is apprehended.

“A celebrity who knows he purchased a red vehicle should surrender it before we search for him. Only then can we begin our investigation and ensure that justice is done,” he said.
