A religious ceremony at the Government House Chapel in Abakiliki was the setting for Governor Francis Nwifuru’s announcement.

The members of the committee are as follows: Sunday Eze, Professor Ben Odoh, Idu Igariwey, Professor Adline Idike, Mrs. Catherine Ogbu, and Senator Chris Nwankwo.

Along with Chief Ben Okah and Senators Antony Ani and Onyekachi Nwebonyi, there are also Senators Sonni Ogbuoji and Obinna Ogba, as well as Barrister Roy Umahi and SAN.

His main point was that the committee needs to start working on getting the dormant company back up and running as soon as possible by communicating with the key investor and shareholders. The group is given a two-week deadline to find a solution.

During my campaign, I visited Nkalagu with the pledge of reactivating the NIGERCEM facility there. During my first term in government, I pledged to bring the factory back to life.

The governor of Abakaliki, Nwifuru, has stated his intention to revitalise the city and bring it back to its former grandeur.

This information was shared with journalists on Sunday by Dr. Monday Uzor, the chief press secretary of the governor.

In order to get stakeholders’ input on how to make the initiative a reality, Nwifuru announced a town hall meeting.

To ensure developers adhere to the master plan, the governor ordered the Ministry of Capital City to be stricter.

He called on Ebonyi natives to return to their homeland and invest in order to increase state revenue, hinting that plots of land will be given to those who are eager and capable of establishing companies at Ezzangbo Industrial City.
